5 Best Offline Mobile Games to Play When You’re Not Connected
If you’re not connected to Wi-Fi, there are still plenty of ways to get your gaming fix on your mobile device! All you need are good offline mobile games to keep you entertained while you’re disconnected from the internet, and you’ll be good to go anywhere with no Internet connection required. Check out this list of five of the best offline mobile games to play when you’re on the move!
1) PUBG MOBILE
Even though PUBG Mobile is available for both Android and iOS, it’s one of the best offline mobile games that people play on a daily basis. It is heavily influenced by PUBG, which you can tell from both its gameplay and mechanics. PUBG MOBILE is played similarly; you are dropped into an island with 99 other players. The goal here is simple: be number one! You do so by killing or avoiding other players as you go around collecting weapons, armor, and gear (and then killing them with said gear). The point of each round? Survive as long as possible in what has become a worldwide phenomenon. And if you want to live another day…you’ll have to fight.
2) Subway Surfers
There’s a reason it made our list of best offline mobile games : it’s just that good. PES 2018 is more than just FIFA on your phone: It has intuitive controls, great graphics, and smooth gameplay that are unrivaled in today’s collection of mobile soccer games. It also has robust online multiplayer options if you’d rather duke it out against real people instead of beating up on AI. If you want football but don’t have an internet connection or want to play on an airplane, give PES 2018 a try. ( Android , iOS )
3) PES 2018 Mobile
PES is one of my favourite series, but I have a confession: until last year, I had never played it. It seemed a bit too complicated. But then I started playing PES 2017 on my PS4 and realized what I was missing. So when Konami announced PES 2018 was coming out on mobile, I was thrilled! In truth, it’s not very different from PES 2017—but that doesn’t mean it isn’t fun. If you like your football games intense and realistic, give PES 2018 a shot! Plus, Konami makes sure every new feature in their games is optimized for mobile play.
4) Shadowgun Legends
Shadowgun Legends is a mobile game which was first launched on August 30, 2018. It is a multiplayer FPS video game that involves real-time PVP battles, collectible characters and weapons along with a separate campaign mode. Shadowgun Legends has already gotten more than one million downloads in just two months of its launch. Besides players, critics are also positive about it as they have given it 8/10 on Google Play Store and Apple App Store respectively. For those who have not tried Shadowgun Legends yet, here’s why you should give it a shot!
5) Apex Legends Mobile
It is a sequel to Titanfall (2014), although Respawn Entertainment took over development duties from original developerRespawn’s founders previously created Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The game was released worldwide on February 15, 2019, and is playable only as a free-to-play title with microtransactions. Despite being free-to-play, players can purchase cosmetic content with in-game currency or real money. Apex Legends has garnered generally positive reviews from critics, with praise directed at its teamwork elements but criticism targeted towards some aspects of gameplay and character design.
